Mr SS Applications (“we”, “us”) builds Phone Dialer (“the app”), a phone dialer and contacts app for Android. This policy explains what the app accesses on your device and how that information is handled. In short: Phone Dialer runs on your device, shows no ads, and does not collect, sell or transmit your personal data to us or anyone else.

Information we collect

We do not collect any personal data. Phone Dialer has no user accounts, no analytics or tracking SDKs, and no servers that receive your information. Everything the app needs stays on your device.

Information the app accesses on your device

To work as a phone app, Phone Dialer reads certain information locally. It is used only to provide features on your device and is never uploaded:

Phone & call state, and the ability to make/answer calls — to place, receive, show and manage calls as your default phone app.
Call log — to show your recent calls, missed calls and call details.
Contacts — to show names and photos for callers, and to let you search, call, edit, group, import and export contacts.
Messaging — when you choose “decline with message” or the “Message” action on a missed call, the app opens your own SMS app with the message pre-filled. The app does not send messages itself and never reads your messages.
Camera — only for the self-view during a video call and for the optional “Scan card” feature. Business-card text recognition runs on your device; images are not uploaded.
Notifications, full-screen & overlay — to show incoming, ongoing and missed-call notifications, and (optionally) the “Do Not Touch” touch-lock overlay.

“Don’t Touch” Safe Lock and the accessibility service

Don’t Touch is an optional Safe Lock that keeps your calls secure by locking the screen to touch during a call — the other person can’t access or interact with your phone until you unlock touch. Your unlock sequence is stored on your device only as a salted, hashed value — never in plain text and never transmitted.

Do Not Touch can use an optional accessibility service whose only action is to close the notification shade while the lock is on, so the lock can’t be swiped past. It is configured so it cannot read the contents of your screen, and it does nothing unless you turn it on. You can disable it at any time in your device’s Accessibility settings.

Data storage

App settings and preferences are stored locally on your device. If you use Backup & Restore, the app writes a file that you choose the location of and control; it is not sent to us.

Sharing with third parties

We do not share your data with third parties. If you start a video call through another app (for example WhatsApp or Google Meet) or open a link, that app or website is governed by its own privacy policy.

Children’s privacy

The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children under 13. Because we do not collect personal data, no personal data from children is collected.

Your choices

You can grant or revoke any permission at any time in your device settings, and you can set a different default phone app whenever you like. Removing a permission may disable the related feature.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
